Summer Horse Camp 2008 Each camper gets their very own horse! All of our lesson horses have been evaluated by the instructors, because at Equestrian Quest safety is very important. Some of our lesson horses have been participating in summer camps for 10 years, but we always have new horses joining us for our campers who come back year after year. There are two instructors with more than 55 years combined experience, who teach the campers how to safely handle, tack, and ride their horse. Western or English riding lessons will be taught, depending on the individual. The daily routine will be slightly different this year, with morning feeding being added, then grooming, tacking, and riding. If the riders show that they are skilled, then a trail ride is added to the lesson where the campers ride on Equestrian Quest's wooded trails under the supervision of an instructor. This is a horse camp where our campers ride and learn about horses (only). At the end of their day, our campers can take a dip in our above ground pool to get cool and clean for their ride home. See our camp schedule below. Also, the link for our registration form is at the bottom of this page. We have 4 new foals coming this spring! We would like our campers to learn about the babies, and observe a trainer working with them. *Also this year, the June 23- 27 session is a special "show camp". Featuring clipping, sheeting, vet care, and farrier visits. Everything you do to prepare your horse for showing.
